THE MANAGEMENT: –The company is managed by Senior Management composed of Chief Executive Office and a Deputy CEO. The general policies and direction of the company are determined by these Senior Management, who are men of integrity and substance who have distinguished themselves in various fields of study.

OUR STAFF; The Management of CIB recognize that the quality of its human resources is the company’s major strength. Guided by our mission statement and corporate philosophy, we continuously seek to develop and motivate our staff to high standard of professionalism. We allocate very high budget to staff training and ensure that staff obtain the necessary on the job training through appropriate delegation and empowerment. Professional qualification through international trainings is emphasized as it’s crucial for career progression. This is to ensure that our staff are adequately equipped to handle the needs of our precious clients with integrity at all times.

OUR OFFICE: –Currently the company has its head office at Bole Road, opposite to Say pastry, Wereda 02, on Sintayehu Belay Building, second floor, office No. 2D.

OUR UNIQUE MARKS:-Our company is established by personnel who have served in the Insurance Industry at the highest level and who hold the highest qualifications in Insurance and Legal fields. In addition to the customary insurance broking services widely provided by the existing insurance broking firms in the country, we have structured the Company in such a way that it can serve different needs of clients in areas of Insurance, risk management, property assessment and legal advisory services. The major sections of our functional units are the following.

OUR INSURANCE UNIT: Our insurance unit is led by professionals with over 18 years of experience in the insurance industry, most of which is at senior management level. The Chief Executive of CIB manages this Unit. He is a holder of Master’s degree in Law (LLM) and diploma from the Chartered Institute of London (CII). He also holds a certificate in insurance Broking Practice from the Chartered Insurance Institute of London.  He was the former Deputy CEO of one of the Insurance companies. He was also a founding shareholder and CEO of Bridge Insurance Broker for the last two years. The unit also includes other senior insurance professionals with over 18 years of experience at senior managerial level in the insurance industry.

OUR LEGAL UNIT: Two of our partners are holders of LLB and LLM respectively. They are always available to provide legal advisory service both in insurance and other matters to our clients, free from any service charge, as a complement to our broking services.

OUR PROPERTY ASSESMENT UNIT: We work in partnership with a qualified property assessment and valuation firm to provide pre-risk assessment service to the property of our esteemed clients free of charge and as complement to our broking. The property assessor is a licensed professional person with over 30 years of experience and provides motor vehicle, industrial and other property assessment services.

OUR CLAIMS MANAGEMENT: –When things go wrong and you need to make a claim, it can be a difficult and stressful time. But Connect Insurance Brokers is there to help. We will manage the claim process for you, including liaising with the insurer, to ensure the whole process runs smoothly and your claim is settled promptly and fairly.

We can assist you in the claims process, by following the steps below:

  • After you notify the incident to us, we shall promptly report the claim to your insurers;
  • We shall follow up all the way through the claims process until you are indemnified;
  • We shall advise you on your rights and responsibilities on the claims process;
  • We shall negotiate with the insurers or third parties on your behalf in matters like recovery;
